Today, the Maine West Fine Arts Department and the Maine West Fine Arts Boosters are hosting the first ever Warrior Con! The event is begin held from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Upper Commons of Maine West High School, and features dozens of professional comic book artists, student creators, and vendors of comics, toys, games, and other merchandise!

The Maine West Fine Arts Department thanks all of the creators and vendors who are a part of our inaugural WARRIOR CON!

A HUGE thanks to Mr. Bernie Gerstmayr for his vision and organization that made this event happen!

What an unforgettable evening! Opening night of the annual West's Got Talent show was a triumph, shining a spotlight on the outstanding skills of the students at Maine West High School! From heartfelt vocal performances to breathtaking dance numbers, the event was packed with moments that captivated the audience.

Our students dedicated countless hours to preparing their acts, and their commitment was clear. Their passion and effort were truly inspiring, and we couldn't be prouder of the incredible work they put in. This talent show is more than just a performance—it's a stage for students to express their creativity and share their talents with our community.

A big thank you to the amazing team that made this event possible: David Harmon & Lisa Jacob, co-directors; Jim Schiffer, vocal director; Jennifer Mullen, music arranger and orchestra director; Peter McManus, technical director; and Bobby Bonslater, audio technical director. Your dedication and expertise were key to making West's Got Talent a success.

We also extend our gratitude to the parents and community members who came out to support our performers. Your energy and applause helped create an electric atmosphere!

Marching Warriors Indoor Showcase Concert 2024 #207Now #marchingband @mainewestband @mainewestfab

 

On Wednesday, October 30th, the Marching Warriors ended their official season with a final performance of their show, Mad Romance, and the stand charts from 2024 at the annual Marching Warriors Indoor Showcase Concert. Congratulations to the Marching Warriors on a successful marching band season, and for learning and performing such an intricate show this year!
