The 2023 Maine West TV and Film Showcase Celebrates a Successful Year in the Radio, TV & Film Program! #207Now #mediaartseducation @wmth_west @mainewestfab @mwhs207

Tonight, the students in the radio, TV & film (broadcasting) program celebrated a year of success! Awards were distributed to students for significant achievement within and outside of the program, including regional, state and even national recognitions. Students' dedication to the radio, TV and film program at West was also honored: eight seniors earned the 4 year award - meaning they have been involved in the program all four years of their career at West!

A huge congratulations to the students on all of their work in the program this year! Tonight's largely student-produced awards ceremony was impressive, as well, flowing smoothly from segment to segment and MC'd confidently!

None of this would have happened if it weren't for the tireless dedication of Ms. Rebecca Orr, Maine West's radio, TV and film teacher. Well done, Ms. Orr! You and your students never cease to amaze us!
