West Side Dance Company performs "Out With the Old, In With the New!" #207Now #dance #orchesis @mainewestfab @mw_westsidedanceco @mainewestguard

The West Side Dance Company took the stage last night with their concert, Out with the Old, In with the New, delivering a performance that was both powerful and deeply expressive. What made the concert especially exciting was that most of the pieces were student-choreographed! Each work showcased individual creativity and perspective, from bold, high-energy routines to more intimate and reflective pieces. The dancers moved with confidence and intention, showing growth in both precision and artistry.

A special highlight of the evening was the guest performance by the Maine West Winter Guard. Through their integration of movement, music, and visual design, they created a captivating experience that expanded the scope of the performance.

A huge thank you goes to West Side Dance Coach Tuesdai Perry!

Congratulations to the West Side Dance Company and the Maine West Winter Guard on a performance that reflects both where they are now and the exciting direction they’re headed. The bar has clearly been raised, and we can’t wait to see what comes next.

West Side Dance Company Presents "Kaleidoscope" with Guest Artists the Maine West Winter Guard! #207Now #dance #orchesis @mainewestfab @mwactivities

The West Side Dance Company opened this year's show, Kaleidoscope, tonight - and it was an unforgettable experience! Each dance was inspired by a different color, turning the stage into a living canvas. From the bold energy of red to the chill vibes of blue, the dancers captured every emotion with incredible skill and style. The mix of contemporary and classic moves kept things exciting, and the theme made the whole show feel connected and meaningful. Kaleidoscope was a powerful reminder of how colors can tell stories and bring out emotions we all relate to. Congratulations to all of the student dancers, student choreographers, and director Ms. Tuesdai Perry on an incredible show!

The night was even more special with the Maine West Winter Guard performing two powerful pieces that added an extra layer of emotion and artistry to the concert. Congratulations to the Winter Guard team and Coach Kaitlyn Colyer!

There is one more performance of Kaleidoscope tomorrow night, Saturday, March 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the Maine West Auditorium. Get your tickets in advance at bit.ly/MWBoxOffice!
